In July 2011, the Association of Accredited Public Health Programs (AAPHP) was officially launched. All of our AAPHP Members Programs are accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health and we serve our 'Associate Members' who are actively seeking CEPH accreditation. We continue to provide valuable resources to those CEPH accredited graduate and undergraduate programs, and assist our associate members as they prepare their 'self-studies' to successfully obtain CEPH accreditation. While the roots of our organization can be traced to community health education and ‘CAMP’, our evolving AAPHP organization maintains a commitment to be an invaluable resource and advocate for undergraduate and graduate training programs that prepare science-practitioners for the public health workforce.
Our AAPHP Program membership represents thousands of public health faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, and the multitude of alumni who have graduated from those training programs within our AAPHP membership.
AAPHP Member Programs are located throughout the United States and internationally. The alumni of our public health programs, both at the graduate and undergraduate levels, are the backbone of the public health infrastructure both in the United States and internationally. AAPHP is the professional organization that represents the interests of these Programs whose mission is to provide excellence in the training of science-practitioners in public health.
